Data deletion
You can ask Biissa Jualan to erase your personal data. Which option fits depends on how you use the Service. Every request is handled within 30 days.
If you are a customer of a business
Sign in to that business’s customer portal and open “Your data”. You can erase your personal data at that business yourself. You can do this when you have no unpaid order, no upcoming booking and no gift card payment in progress; otherwise the page asks you to contact the business first.
Erasing your data at one business does not change your record at any other business that uses Jualan.
You cannot erase your data yourself while an online order of yours is placed, accepted or handed over and not yet settled, or while a payment you made online is still to be paid back. Finish or cancel the order first, or contact the business.
If you signed in with Facebook
When you remove Jualan from your Facebook settings and ask Facebook to delete your data, Facebook tells us. We then erase your personal data at every business where that Facebook account was linked, and give you a confirmation code. You can check what happened on the deletion status page with that code.
If you are a business owner or staff member, or you prefer email
Email admin@biissa.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Tell us the email address of your account and the business you are asking about. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act. A business owner who wants to close a business should say so in the same message.
What we erase
When your data is erased we:
- replace your name with a placeholder that identifies no one;
- remove your email address, phone number, birthday, notes, photo and preference tags;
- remove your addresses, sign-in sessions and linked Google, Apple and Facebook accounts;
- remove your name, phone and notes from bookings and loyalty memberships, and replace the loyalty member key;
- replace the text of your support tickets with a notice that it was removed.
What we keep, and why
Indonesian bookkeeping and tax rules require a business to keep its financial records. Sales documents, payments, gift card balances and movements, loyalty balances and accounting journals stay, attached to the erased record and without your personal details. They are kept for as long as the law requires, generally up to ten (10) years.
